I would like to transfer a QuickBooks file from one downloaded from a service company to my Company File. How to do this?

The quickest and easiest way is to download a .qif to xl converter.

There are ones available that you can purchase, but this one is free:

Both files can be opened by QB's 2009. How do I move information from one file to the Company master file? Is there a drop and drag? Or can the two be merged? How to do it. j

Are you talking Quickbooks to Quickbooks?

I took your post to mean Quickbooks to Excel.
Sorry.

Although I do not use Quickbooks, in my Quicken software there is both an Import and Export function on the Task Bar, under File.
They both open to simple wizards that walk you through.

Have you looked at the Intuit site?
Here's a page you may be able to use:

Again, sorry for the confusion.
