I was wondering if macros can help in my problm.I am preparing an excel sheet one for each day of the month the values varry , i want to know if Macros can help me to colour the cells according to its valu eg. If value is more than 99.8 then it should show green otherwise yelow

Conditional Formatting will probably do what you want.

Custom Edit might work also.
