I reinstalled Office, and imported an old PST file into Outlook. Since there was little or no updates, I decided to delete the backed-up PST file. It was outdated and irrelevant.
Now whenever I open Outlook, it keeps asking for that old PST file. It's gone, and I can't get Outlook to accept it. I was happy to uninstall and reinstall from scratch, but Unistalling didn't (apparently) delete the settings, so when I reinstalled, nothing has changed (personal settings already active, still asking for PST file).
How do I stop Outlook from asking me this, or how do I perfom a complete uninstall?

Right-click on the Outlook icon on the desktop. How many pst files are listed? If there is only one, then it's probably pointing to that old pst, even though you said you imported it. If there is more than one pst listed, and the old one is the Mail Delivery file, all you need to do is go into your email account configuration and change the Mail Delivery pst to the second pst that's listed. Then, remove the first (old) one from the list of data files.
