Does anyone know what is the command to lock powerpoint slides with password to prevent unauthorised changes?

I certainly check b4 I put up my question. My Powerpoint Help offers "Tools, Lock Contents" but I cannot find Lock Contents in the Tools tab.

As for the steps you mentioned, there's no Security in the Options tab. I don't know abt your pc, but I definitely cannot find it on mine.

Right. Starting with Powerpoint version 2002, you have the Security option under Tools, Options. If it's not there, then you must not be using Office XP (2002) or 2003. Password protection is not available for Powerpoint 2000 or earlier due to compatibility issues with pre-2000 programs.
