Comment:

Whenever i turn on my laptop, and error message appears when i reach the desktop which reads 'Could not load or run '"C:\Users\Mart\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Manager.exe"' specified in the registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference in the registry.

I've had a look in the registry and deleted everything to do with Adobe but the error message still appears can someone please help me resolve this problem because its getting really annoying now.

Thankyou in advance.
Mart

Try this:

- Start...Run...
- Enter msconfig, hit enter
- Choose the Startup tab
- Look for an Adobe Manager entry and uncheck the box
- A couple of OK's should get you out
- Restart your system, hopefully the message will be gone.

Note: The first time you restart after changing anything via msconfig, you will get a message about the changes. Check the box that says something like "Don't run the configuration utility" and you won't get that pop-up anymore - or at least not until you make another change via msconfig.

Are you sure that's the correct path in the message? If so, did you search the Registry for that exact string?

If you removed all Adobe entries, then your Adobe software (whatever version) will not work and you will need to reinstall.
