Printing to PDF--with letterhead?

We write all our files in MS Word. Then we print them on letterhead, scan them to Adobe 8 to turn them to PDF, and email them that way. The first page is on different letterhead than the subsequent pages.

It's much easier, for those things we email without letterhead, to just go into Adobe and turn the file into a PDF without having to scan it. Also the quality of the scanned PDFs isn't that great.

Is there any way to do that with letterhead? Have Adobe turn the Word file into a PDF with the correct letterhead on the correct pages? We can get the art files for the letterhead from the printer.

We're happy to upgrade or purchase software for this purpose...just want to know what, if anything, can do it.

Newer versions of Word have the option to save files as a pdf.

Will that work?

Not unless that option will also add the letterhead headers and footers to the file.

If you add it to the Word Document, then it will be on the pdf file. Are you running Office 2007?
