Printing PDFs on multiple pages

Our company recieves engineering drawings as .pdf files. We don't have an A0 printer, but want to print the pdf file in parts, on 4xA4 pages, so we can stick them together and get an A0. Can anyone advise how to do this .. 3rd party software? an option in Acrobat? We have Acrobat writer 4, as well as Autocad 9.0
In acrobat you can select part of the page using the graphic select tool (this may or may not be available in the reader, you may need the entire version. I'm not sure) then paste into your favorite graphics program or ms word/wordperfect, and print from there.
