printing pdf in word 97

I am needing to open or move my pdf files to word 97 or some other program where I can print them off.

Why do you need to move them to Word ?
The PDF files can be printed out directly through Adobe Acrobat Reader program...which is the freeware viewer program that opens PDF.

The acrobat reader that i have has the print option locked. Need to print study materials off of it.

You learn something new every day ! I've been reading about PDF files and never realised that you could restrict printing in the document security.
None of my PDF files would open in Word and look as they should.
So...I guess you need a password to bypass that security feature of the PDF files !
