Hi,
one of my employee using office 2k3 at winxp sp2.when ever he opens new excel file automatically the backup file also getting open.when ever he do modifications ,the excel file also create a backup copy.i want to stop this kind of backup.

Pls help me to solve this issue.

You need to customize Excel when it opens. Type Customize how Excel starts into the help.
