Hi, I recorded a macro on powerpoint, but when I go to the menu macros, it shows my macros but the button "run" is off, when I go to the visualbasic mode, and click the play button it says: "The macros of this project are disabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host application to determine on how to enalbe macros."
I tried everything, did not find an answer. How can I enable macros?
Thanks a lot,Braza

Hi Braza!
The thing is that under the Security-choice
(Tool/Macro/Security) you have probobly
High security wich only allows Visual Basic related Macros. If you lower to Medium or Low you should be able to record as ususal. Why this approch from MS you might ask, thing is that it's considered a securityrisk if you have it any lower than high (level of macrosecurity). This in the name of macro virus creation cookbook step by step.

Ps. You can launch the Microsoft Network Security Hotfix Checker on the URL
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;303215after you made the tweak of PowerPoint and the program will complain about the macrolevel in PP
