Hi, hope somebody can help me...

My powerpoint presentation has something like 60 slides, it goes automatically (custom show), but at the end is finishes in the last slide waiting for a mouse click to leave the presentation (I wanted like this).

I don't want people viewing my slides, I just want them to view my presentation and print only the slides I WANT!!! and by clicking a macro button, doing so; and maybe by clicking the backgroud picture, exiting powerpoint and opening my web-site.

So I want 2 things: at the last slide of my presentation, to have a button with a macro, that if someone presses it, it starts printing the presentation ONLY some selected slides (let's suppose slides: 10-15, 22, and 33).

I was able to write a macro that prints only those slides (recording macro), and add a button to the last slide (easy), but I cannot assign that macro to that specific button (like Excel).

How can I assign this macro to this button? And finally, I have a picture in the background, and I assigned an hyperlink to this picture (let's suppose http://www.yahoo.com), why by clicking this picture it does not opens Explorer? It just freezes my computer. Does this have anything to do with the presentation waiting a mouse click (or Esc) to finish?

Sorry, was too long, but can somebody help me?

Thanks a lot,

Braza

hi, u mean u can't with a registred macro assign it to a slideshow/button/customized button..? Usually Option to assig it to macro is grayed out till u've not made ur macro, but next it's available..and http links works fine too. Check for ie parameters to default browser. Think that u should better have ur http link automatically after last action of ur last slide than click on a picture.

Well, I recorded a macro, it is there named "print", but I am not finding (in anyway, right-clicking iwth the mouse on the top of the button, anywhere) the "assign macro" (if it exists).

finally, I am doing exactly what you are saying, having a picture in the background linked to a n hyperlink but it does not open explorer and I don;t think it is the browser. Not sure.

thanks a lot for your help, if you have any other advice...

Thanks a lot,

Braza
