Hello

I am currently working on an important presentation for work. The presentation includes the use of sound files (.wav) throughout. I’ve used these sound files in the presentation and nominated the function where the user needs to click on the speaker icon before the wav starts playing.

Unfortunately every time I open the presentation all the speaker icons do not work. When clicked with the mouse they do not start playing the wav as supposed to. When I delete the speaker image and re-insert the same wav I can play the file after clicking on the speaker. However once that session is saved or powerpoint closed and re-opened when I click the speaker the sound file does not play.

This is very inconvenient as I cant launch my presentation with out these wav files working on the users demand. I’ve tried re-saving the whole presentation, the same thing happens. And the route to the wav file is correct when I look at the animation property box. Also note that when I opened the file today I also got a warning message saying that some sort of (power point) critical error occurred and asked if I would like to continue, so I did – could that have any effect?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Phil.
