Something changed. Microsoft Photo Editor has always worked. Nothing reconfigured on computer. I have the M.O. Pro 2000 and it will install photoed, but won't open. If I uase "Open With" and use "Paint" or "BitMap" the photo opens in that configuration. I want to open in normal jpeg form. Suggestions?

What do you mean by "the photo opens in that configuration.?" If you're opening a jpg in Paint, then it's still a jpg unless you change it. Are you setting Photo Editor as the default program for jpg files? Do you get an error when you attempt to open Photo Editor from the Programs list?

Photo Editor will not open when clicking on a jpeg icon. If I select "Open With" and chose Bitmap it opens, but it is in the bitmap configuration, not the jpeg. Jpeg allows pull downs not available in BitMap

You didn't answer my questions.. Have you set Photo Editor as the default application for jpg files? What about choosing Photo Editor when you select "Open With?" What happens then?

Yes on default for jpg. When using "open with" and choosing photoed, same as clicking on the jpeg, the program comes up and goes about 1/3 of the way thru the down and stops. Afte a bit it says "program not responding"

You said something changed, but nothing was reconfigured on the computer. Have you tried a System Restore to a date when you know the Photo Editor indeed opened properly? Failing that, try a Repair of Office.
