Hey folks, I havee this project where I needed to scan a 100 page document and then email it off to someone. I've scanned it but I had it turned into a PDF from the start. The recipient of the email wants it in .doc format (as I found out now). I'd rather not rescan it. What can I do to convert? I've tried everything it seems and nothing works really. The closest I seem to come is having it converted with a bunch of jibberish typed over the original document that probably means the software tried to guess what some of the letters were.

pdf's are more secure than Word documents, but I'm sure your recipient has his her reasons. You said "I've tried everything it seems and nothing works really" but you haven't said what you've tried.
The only way to do what you want it use a third-party program to convert.
