Microsoft Book: office excel 2003 inside...

Specs: Windows XP
I have Col.D all cells filled with data but col.E have data filled randomly i.e about 60% of cells are blank.

I want to copy the data of col.E and paste at corresponding cells in Col.D by overwritting data there but don't want to overwrite the Col.D data if the corresponding cells in Col.E is blank.

Drag this formula down another column.

You'll get the data from D if E is blank and the data from E if E isn't.

Next, copy the "new" data and use Edit...Paste Special...Values into Column D.
