I inserted the page break as directed but the agreement numbering (Page # of 20) still shows Page # of 20 rather than 1 of 16 (The Exhibits are the remaining 4 pages and should not be included in the numbering.

Any ideas???

I believe the solution is related to Section Breaks, not Page Breaks.

Page Breaks control printing while Section Breaks allow you to apply different formatting, headers, footers, etc. to different parts (sections) of the document.

Try the steps outlined here:

I meant Section Break - not Page Break. So, I had inserted the Section Break. The information you provided was good in that the "Link to Previous" is specific to EITHER the Header or Footer.

The problem now is that the total count of pages in the document (withOUT the Exhibits) is what I need but the count still includes the Exhibits. Is there a way to set the end of the page numbering just before the Exhibits?

Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your response. I'm having difficulty creating the AutoText I want. But I'll keep working on it. Thanks!
