XP SP2 / Outlook2007

I have to transfer about a 150 contacts to another computer running Outlook2007 also.

Which is the best way to do this?

Run through the Export wizard, saving the contacts in the filetype of your preference. Then, import them to the other computer's pst file.

Thank Jennifer,

I did try that, but it will not allow me to 'export' specific contacts. I highlight the contacts, and then go through the export steps, the resulting .pst file (choosing that format) contacts ALL the contacts.

It seems that the export process pertains to the whole folder and not specific contact entries.

If you don't want them all, then you have several options. Create a Distribution list with only the Contacts you want to export, or export them all and after importing to the other computer, delete the ones you don't want.

Or, if this other computer has network connectivity and access to email, email the contacts to the email address and add them that way.

Life's more painless for the brainless.

Thanks Jennifer.

Will try that.

Attaching contacts in email would work, but can become a boring and tedious task! But if that's what needs to be done, that's what needs to be done.

Or you can create a contacts sub folder and drag and copy those contacts to that folder and using the method Jennifer stated first, export that folder to a .pst file and import it to the computer that you need them on.
