I have a user who is running office 2000 on an XP. When using Outlook and opening the address book, if you click on contacts, Outlook shuts down. We have an exchange server that handles our e-mail. No one else seems to be having this problem.

do you get an exception / error message when outlook closes? If so please post the error here.

also do you have the latest Off2k service pack installed (SP3)? If this doesn't help, I would try a repair install of Outlook - make sure you back up the users emails and addresses first though.
