Lately I've been receiving duplicate emails from some of my clients. When using outlook express, I get two of the emails sent to me, when the client has only sent one. This only happens with select people. I'm only using one POP3 account. Any ideas?

allen, In my experience i'd say that would be on the senders end. If it were your end you'd get duplicates for every email. Get your contacts that arte doing this to update and run their antivirus software and have them get AdAware and Spybot if they don;t have them already. ciao, wired

thanks for the reply, i thought that's what was happening, but this only happens with select receivers. the emails are being CC'd to other people in the office, and they are only receiving one copy, while i am receiving 2 or sometimes 3. thanks.

I'm one of those poeple that send out 1 email, but the recipients recieve up to 9 copies. Only when an attachment is involved. From what I've read, it may be a clash with Nortons. Nortons is aware of the problems, but has no solutions as yet. May also be the remnants of a virus in the registry. I'm still looking for a solution!
