What is the name of the file that has all saved email messages? I assume this is located in Office folder in program files. Thanks.

Wrong guess!

C:\Documents and Settings\User ID\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\*.pst

I'm not on a network so I get to User ID and then there is not local settings available. I've opened all the folders and there is no application data found anywhere. When on a network I could always get to my pst file. But now I can't find it.

You need to make sure that all files are being shown.

In Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, View, Click the radio button that reads "Show hidden files and folders", and uncheck "Hide file extensions for known file types", and "Hide protected operations system files."

You'll then be able to see your pst file. If it's not in the default location, run a Search for *.pst.

You say you could see it when you're on the network. Are you referring to a network at your place of employment? If so, perhaps the file is located on a share that you connected to. A little more detail would be good. :)

Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

Making the hidden files viewable solved the problem. I found my .pst file and I'm happy. Thanks so much for your help.
