Hi

I was working on a client's desktop and setting up there mail in Outlook XP. While I was doing that their reminders kept popping up. I clicked Dismiss All rather than Snooze and now the user can't get them back. Does anyone know how to get back the reminders without going in and resetting each one individually? There's about 30.

reminders are part of the calendar function. reminders that have already expired are still listed in the calendar but won't function if they have been dismissed unless you change the system time or recreate them. of course if you do the time thing it defeats the whole propose of them. And when you correct the time outlook will either complain about the deadline has passed or will cause all the reminders to pop up.

if they don't work at all:

Set or remove reminder options for new appointments
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Preferences tab.

To have a reminder automatically turned on or off for new appointments, select or clear the Default reminder check box.

If you selected the check box, enter the amount of time before the appointment when you want the reminder to occur.

I had dismissd overdue reminders that I would like to pop back up. How would I go about doing this? This is for one of my clients. As the message said, I had hit Dismiss All instead of Snooze and now my client says he needs those past due reminders to come back up again.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
