Hello all.
My pst file had gotten to 1.9gb, so I went through and archived a bunch of stuff. It created an archive.pst file that was 1.2gb. However, my normal outlook.pst file only decreased to 1.8gb.

You will need to have the folder view on the left side, not the OL bar. Right click on the personal folder file/properties/advanced/and click compact now...this should help.
OL and OE have a habit of not shrinking when you move things or delete things from the folders.
Hope this helps.
