Comment:

I have exported mail and personal folders in Outlook to a .PST file on my main PC. When I try and import it to my laptop it doesn't work and the PST file reduces in size from 41.2 MB to 32KB for some reason???

I was backing up my wife's mail to recreate it on the laptop and I have already done this with my mail folder with no problem. I have backed up the mail again and tried importing once more but the same happens. I can't believe the attributes of the file can be changed so drastically

Any ideas?

Are you sure you're entering the correct path for the pst file to import? The 32KB is not an unusual size for a newly created "empty" pst file.

I wouldn't try to import anything. Just select the path of the pst file to point as the location of your data file.
