I have just installed a copy of Office 2000 and it has completle wrecked my Outlook 2000! Evertime I run Outlook it asks for outlook2.pst and archive.pst which I can't find anywhere. I've tried uninstalling Outlook (which causes me problems as the original source of Outlook was an OEM product) and the complete Office package and reinsatlling to no avail.

Can somone please help before I resort to a re-install of Win ME or a format and re-install :-(

Jimbo, it sounds as if Outlook is trying to load those two data files. All you have to do is right-click on your Outlook shortcut, Select Properties, Data Files, and then delete those two file references from the list. At that point, your Primary Mail Delivery pst file should be the only one listed. You can add others as needed...
