When I send my messages using outlook express the recipents are not receiving the messages even though they are going into my sent folder. Does anyone know what setting I have to look at or change in order for my messages to be sent.

If they are in the Sent Items, then they have indeed sent. Send yourself a test message. You could be mistyping the recipient's email address, or they have your email going into their Spam/Junk folder and don't know the email is being received. You can also set the option for Read Receipts.
