This has been driving me crazy, as I use the feature a lot. One day I was getting onto Outlook 2007 and my folders were updated. I went to check one of my RSS feeds (Capitalist Banter) and a quick pop-up appeared with an OK button, disappeared and Outlook shut down. I couldn't read what the pop-up said because it just flashed for a second. Now, when I open Outlook, the sidebar that shows the contents of the currently selected email/RSS feed is gone. I have searched Google to no avail of finding it. I have also tried dragging from the right to the left and only the calendar/reminder thing moved. Is there a setting that I can change to turn this option back on? Thanks!

Launch Outlook and go to Help, Disabled items. See if anything has been disabled, if so re-enable it. If nothing is disabled then go back to Help and try the Office Diagnostics program.
