outlook mail sending problem

Specs: Windows 7
Hello there

I am having an issue with Microsoft outlook 2003. When i try to send a mail the following error is generated nd the mail stucks in outbox.

Task 'S***.P**** S*** - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC7D) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) server does not support SSL-secured connections. If SSL-secured connections have worked in the past, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

You don't say which version of Outlook you're using but in 2007/2010 go to tools/account settings, select the account, click 'change' and then the 'more settings' button. Select the 'advanced' tab and take the tick out of the 'this server requires an encrypted connection' box - click the 'use defaults' if necessary to get numbers in the boxes. See if this works. If not you will have to contact your ISP, or check their webpage to see what settings you should be using.
