Outlook Freezes due to characters

Hi all, I have a problem that stumped me. I am using MS outlook 2007 as my email client. I work with China and require to send emails back and forth. Every time I get an email with an attachments that have Chinese characters on the subject only, it freezes my outlook and it keeps trying to download the same message again and again. The steps I take to stop it is to log in to my godaddy web mail, delete that message, and then reopen my outlook. Once I open my outlook, it re downloads the messages prior to the one that came with the Chinese characters. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help.
