I am having trouble sending email using Outlook Express -- the messages are not getting to the recipients, although they appear in my Sent folder, and I do not receive any bounce messages. Most of the emails that fail to go through have attachments, but the file sizes are well within the limits. This problem has only started occurring in the last two weeks, although nothing has changed with my system, ISP or email account. I have a Yahoo email account that I access via OE, and am using a dial-up connection. Anyone have an idea where the problem lies? Thanks.
Depending on where you live, and who your ISP is, some ISP's have been making deals with Yahoo for Yahoo to be their email server...SBC did this in the midwest...
For example, this changes the POP and SMTP accounts from pop.mail.yahoo.com to pop.mail.sbcglobal.yahoo.com etc...
Chech with your ISP and see if there are any changes../.
Well, gee, Yahoo is now charging its mail account members a fee for being able to access its mail in MSN's Outlook Express or any other mail client! Now, why do I have to pay YAHOO to see its mail on somebody ELSE's mail client?? Do something before your mail on the server gets removed / deleted. Either do NOT access your Yahoo mail in OE or reconfigure your OE to 'leave a copy of your message on the server'.
