i'm having a problem, of course. my email server recently took on a new rule that i have to check my mail before sending my mail. while outlook decides it wants to send mail before checking it. so consequently i'm unable to send out mail. is there a way to fix this? get it to check my mail theeeeeennnn send. if not - what would be another solution? keeping in mind i have to keep track of about 8 (sometimes 9) email addresses.
almost exact error is as follows:
--------snip--------
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'mymommyis@yahoo.com'. Subject 'Re: ', Account: 'subverter.net | headhoncho', Server: 'mail.myserver.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)', Port: 625, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79'
------/snip---------
i've talked to my host and they told me that's because i didn't check my mail before sending. i beg to differ. but whatever.p.s. it's ok to get technical w/me

Goto to tools click options click send tab and unclclick immediaently, click apply/ok
On the main view of outlook click the down button and you have option to send all receive all or both, if it doen't work, then is cos you are sending mail from another account via a different ISp, they won't allow this as my doesn't cos it could be spam being sent etc...
Ian

i tried your suggestion Ian, thanks - but unfortunately those solutions didn't work. the problem is in the queue outlook goes:
check (address 1)
check (address 2)
but here i want to send something and it insists on:
send (address 3)
check (address 3)
check (address 4)unfortunately my mail server finds that unacceptable (yes, due to possible spam) so i guess i'm gonna need to find a new mail client until microsoft decides to get off their high horse. any suggestions? as i stated before i manage 8 (sometimes 9) i messed with eudora and it didn't seem interested in checking 9 email addresses.
