I had taken backup of all pst files before formatting C drive although all pst files were on D drive/partition. I have hundreds of pst files and not able to find which pst contains e-mails for a particular period? can smone help?

If the pst wasn't name correctly there isn't much you can do except go though them all. Now that being said i would look at the file details and look at the modify date. This way you will know around the time the file was last modified which may narrow down your search.
