Hello everyone!

Since few days I'm having a problem with my old Outlook Express 6.0 (I am using it under Windows XP Professional) - incoming messages are OK but if only I try to send something I got the message "Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'account name', Server:'server', Protocol: SMTP, Port 465, Secure (SSL); Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F"
Of course I have looked up in Internet about possible causes of this error but I couldn't find anything concrete (they say it might be a virus, or some other).
For sure it was not a virus (I have ESET NOD running on my laptop), I also have restored the partition from the earlier image done when the OE was working correctly, but still no effect.
The hints available in Internet didn't help either.
It also was not the excessive size of the folder for outgoing mails (currently it is slightly above 1GB and the limit for OE is 2,054GB).
Does anybody have some useful ideas that could solve my problem?
Thanks a lot in advance for any support!!

I agree with #1. Sometimes these problems are fleeting and are rectified in a few hours but by all means ask them.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
