Solved Outlook Express - all emails moved to deleted folder

May 2, 2013 at 16:19:29
Specs: Windows 7
I set up a new "search folder" and accidentally all the emails from the inbox folders (inbox, sent emails, files) ended up in the new search folder. I didn't want this so I pushed delete and then noticed all of the emails were now deleted from all my inbox folders! How do I fix this? I also have a laptop with all the emails still on it, is it possible if I can reload these onto my PC.

Have a look in "Deleted Items" folder, they might be in there.

Hi DoubleDHoughton,

Yes, it's possible to copy your emails to other PC.

I assume You're using Ms. Outlook 2007/10/13. To do this You just have to use the Export facility on Your Ms. Outlook to save your emails into a single file which You can import later on other PC.

Then, copy that exported file to the PC which You wish to copy the emails to, open Ms. Outlook, and use the Import facility to import the emails.

For example:

How to import Ms. Outlook 2010 emails:

Or, if You're using another version of Ms. Outlook or another email client software, You can use Google to search for the tutorials. e.g: "how to export outlook 2013 email".

Good Luck!
