Outlook Express 6 Error

I was updating the address book on OE6 and the machine switched off suddenly. After which now it gives me following error in OE6 - "There was an error opening this message. An error has occured" - when I try to open or create a message - "Unable to open the Address Book. The Address Book may not be installed properly" - when I try to open the address book. It seems the address book has got corrupted. I have already checked that the address book is NOT read only. I have a backup of slightly old address book on an external hard disk. Please help. Summary: There is no Outlook Express 2003. Do you mean Outlook 2003? Or Outlook Express 6? Are you running off an Exchange server? I googled that particular error and got lots of helpful hits....
