My problem is with Outlook Express............I am running Windows XP and for the past week I have been getting the same emails through Outlook Express over and over again. When I push the Send/Receive button it indicates there are many more emails trying to get through but only the same 5 or six keep coming through (and sometimes they are duplicated 5 times each). I'm not sure how to fix this (or what other information might be needed).....I recently installed a trial version of a spam stopper, but I uninstalled that yesterday and this problem is still occurring.
If anyone has suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Thanks Risa

Can you go to your provider's webpage and make sure they're not still on the server?

Open Outlook Express click Tools/Accounts window opens click Mail Tab click on Account then click properties button. Another window pops up click the Advanced Tab. Under Delivery near the bottom uncheck Leave a copy of messages on server if it not checked. Click Apply and OK close outlook express. This will fix the problem if mail is left on the server.

I tried going into Outlook Express properties to uncheck that box, however, it was already unchecked. I'm getting a little nuts getting the same 5 messages over and over and all dated 6/15/06.
If you or anyone else has any suggestions, I'd certainly appreciate hearing them.
