I installed Windows 7, but I cannot get Outlook (2003 OR 2007) to connect to my companies' exchange server. I tested with Gmail and I can get Outlook to connect to Gmail without issue. I believe the server is Exchange Server 2007, but I do not have access to it. I installed Office on the Virtual Windows XP (VPC) in Win7 and I CAN connect and I CAN connect if I boot to Windows XP Partition on the same Disk. So, it is clearly an issue with Windows 7. I have not been able to find much info on this issue. Anyone have any ideas on what could cause this issue?

So what happens when you attempt to create the exchange email account in Outlook? Have you tried OWA?
Is the Windows 7 load authenticating to the Domain?
And, it's not "Outlook Exchange Server." It's Microsoft Exchange Server."

Oh, thanks for the clarification, yes I meant "Microsoft Exchange Server."
I CAN log on to OWA. I am NOT connected to the domain, I am just logging on locally. I cannot verify that the server is "Windows 7 ready", whatever that may mean, I do not know a lot about domains, but I do not see why I could not connect just because it is a different OS. Seems to me like it would be a setting on my computer. Thanks for the help.

Exchange uses AD/Domain accounts...not local ones. You can't authenticate if you're not logging into the Domain.
Why don't you ask your Exchange Admin for assistance?

I know I can log on to a local profile and set up outlook to connect to the exchange server because I do it all of the time in XP. I have to log on with my domain credentials, but as long as I do that it SHOULD work. The problem is in Win7 that outook doesn't seem to accept the credentials. I enter all of the MS Exchange info in the Mail profile setup identical to my local XP profile but I just keep getting prompted for the password.
FYI it may or may not be related, but it is basically identical to the situation when I try to connect to the Exchange Server with Evolution in Ubuntu.
Thanks
