Specs: Windows XP Pro, 1.8GHz/1024MB
I can't open, save or copy CSV attachments in Outlook 2000. I forwarded it to another e-mail and they were able to open it no problem.

Thanks for the replies. I fixed it by rebuilding the profile, which to me was overkill but it did work. I have a feeling this problem might creep up again and if there is a reason for it rather than blaming stray cosmic rays that would be great.

I don't think it's a MIME issue since CSV files do indeed open if saved on the workstation.

What it is, is that a program on a server generates data which is saved to a CSV file which is then automatically e-mailed. There's no other way to it. It can't be converted to XLS format or to TXT. Just more work than there really needs to be done.

Worked for a day, then Word stopped working, then Excel stopped working. Then I couldn't uninstall Office. Great fun, we reinstalled Windows. ;)
