I (and a number of others in my office) can't get Outlook to connect to our corporate Exchange Server mail system from outside the office unless we use dial-up. Using dial-up, we can connect no problem. However, using a cable modem, nobody's figured out what's wrong but it just won't connect. We're trying to use the corporate workgroup connection to Exchange, not SMTP or POP service. We want everything to stay on the server.
We've modified LMHOST to include the IP and URL association but still no luck. I can't even ping the server from home but that may be because my cable ISP blocks that kind of traffic.
