Outlook Calendar / Time Zone

I have a problem whereby any all day events put into my calendar from a PC in a different European Timezone is spanning two days when changed to busy... I have scoured the web and this would appear to be one of those "things" but surely with the fact that America is spread over different timezones too this would have been resolved by now?? Is there a 3rd party fix out there???????? Ta Dave
