Outlook and Outlook Express

Does Outlook use the same .wab format as OE? I need to export part of an OE addreess book into Outlook. Thanks.

No. You don't export "Into" Outlook. You export FROM OE into pab format or a text file. Then, import that into Outlook.

In OE:
File
Export
Address Book
Follow the wizard.

If you export as a txt file, you'll have to then convert to csv, tsv, xls, or another file format that Outlook can import.

In Outlook

File
Import
Import from another program or file
Personal Address Book
Follow the wizard.
