Outlook adds '@' in font name

Model/Manufacturer: Dell

In Outlook, sometimes the fonts have a '@' in front of them in certain messages. (ie - '@Arial Unicode MS' instead of 'Arial Unicode MS'). This is fine in Outlook because it still recognizes it as the normal font, but when I run this .msg file through third-party PDF rendtion software, it can't recognize the different font name and it errors. Is there anyway I can prevent Outlook from doing this? Has anyone ever seen this before?

Where is the @ begin shown? In the text of the message?

I just found out that this font can be found in Outlook, by going to Tools > Options > Mail Format tab > Fonts button > Choose Font button...

You can see it in the list of fonts... but that's the only place I see it. Any reason why it's an option?
