Hi,

I was just wondering if some kind soul could help me. Is it possible for me
to set up a mail merge on behalf of someone else. If you don't understand
this, I want the 'From' field in outlook to say 'myname@mydomain.com on
behalf of 'someone else@anotherdomain.com'.

I can send one message via this method, but I need to do this for a mail
merge of roughly 100 names, and don't want to do this manually.

The email of the person we want doesn't work for this company. We don't
have an exchange server up and running yet.

Does anyone know if this is possible.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Without an Exchange server you can't use the "On Behalf of" Feature. Assuming you have the permission of the person who you want showing as the sender, what you could do temporarily is to edit the sending name on the email account you're going to be using to send the messages.

Life's more painless for the brainless.
