Hi pps,
New computer. Fresh install of outlook 2007. Now I want to bring over my data from my old computer which ran outlook 2003.
Any suggestions to the best approach of doing this?

I haven't worked with Office 2007, but if it's similar to earlier versions, you can either add the old data (pst) file as an additional personal folder, or you can import the data from the old file by using the Import/Export wizard. The later method will take longer.
A third option is to use the old pst file instead of the newly created one, by deleting the new one and then placing the old one in your Outlook data folder. Then, Outlook will prompt you for the location of the proper file.

thx Jennifer,
I wasn't sure about simply replacing the new .pst file with the old on account of compatibility.
So I went with importing the old into the new file and it worked great!
Thx for the tip!
