I recently upgraded to Outlook 2007 and now some of my e-mails are showing hyperlinks instead of embedded images, like it used to.
Any ideas on how to show the embedded images instead of the hyperlinks?
Windows XP Pro SP2
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+
2.61GHz, 1.93GB RAM
MSI K9N6PGM2 Motherboard
NVIDIA GeForce MCP61P + nForce 430 Chipset

Look at Tools, Trust Center, Automatic Downloads. What are the settings there?

It has "Don't download pictures..." unchecked.

And the settings for attachments?

Security Mode: Default
"Add properties to attachments....", unchecked. "Turn off Attachments Preview", unchecked. I clicked on the Attachment and Document Previewers.. button and all the boxes are checked.Windows XP Pro SP2

So this isn't happening for all messages? Perhaps the problem emails were sent in plain text?

It is Plain Text now. But, before we upgraded, the same e-mail was coming through showing pictures instead of hyperlinks. We upgraded from Outlook Express to Outlook 2007. I just figured it was an option that needed to be changed. Is that not the case?

It's hard to tell since you converted from one program to another. The plain text emails probably won't show the images in the body of the message. Is Outlook configured to show all email as plain text? Or is it just that some of the messages aren't displaying? And, is it only messages that were initially received with OE?
