Outlook 2007 formatting problem

About six months ago I discovered that whenever I replied to a html email the recipients would receive it as plain text. If I go to my Sent items and bring it up it shows it was sent as an html message. If I compose a new email, it goes out and is received as html. If I do a forward, it retains html. This only happens when I do a reply. I've run out of places to look...

If you were to send a message to that recipient formatted as an HTML message, not a reply or a forward, but a new message, do they receive it as an HTML message or a plain text message? It is possible that their email program or server is set to only accept plain text messages.

Thanks for the reply, but I believe we have found it. AVG 8.0 is the culprit. We have discovered that if AVG is set to check outgoing emails it will convert them to text.
