Outlook 2007 account does not sync between two PCs

June 25, 2012 at 08:37:08
Specs: Windows XP
Outlook 2007 sync issues:

I have a user who logs in at two different locations at the same time (same username) if he reads/deletes an email on one PC it does not always replicate the change on the other PC. Both computers are running XP. One PC is upstairs and the other downstairs, it is always the same PC (downstairs) that does not reflect the change.

I have already repaired Office once and I am stuck for further ideas.

Many thanks

What type of email account is it? And if you have it set to save a copy of the email to the local computer, it won't delete the email on the other computer automaticly.

Sorry I should have said it is running through Exchange.

Do you have Cached Exchange mode turn on?

Go to Tools, Account Settings. On the E-mail tab, double click on the Exchange account. Under Microsoft Exchange Server, take the checkmark out of Use Cached Exchange Mode.

Try that and see if it helps.
