I was trying to send a 50MB file to my brother and realized that I cannot send a file of that size in an attachment for my email provider does not allow files of that size. Now it is stuck in the outbox and just hangs there. How can I delete it. When I try it says Outlook has already begun to send. I have let it sit for 2 days so I don't think it's gonna send. How can I get it tou of my outbox? Thanks. AJ

Have you tried dragging the file from the Outbox to the Deleted (or other) box. Perhaps OE will let you delete if its in another box. Worth a try. If that doesn't work perhaps someone else has a solution.

Anyway, I recently found a site www.dropload.com which lets you upload your file for FREE if its less than 100 MB. My friend recently sent me a 93MB file using them. Here's what they say on their site.

"Dropload is a place for you to drop your files off and have them picked up by someone else at a later time. Recipients you specify are sent an email with instructions on how to download the file. Files are removed from the system after 7 days, regardless if they have been picked up or not. You can upload any type of file, mp3, movies, docs, pdfs, up to 100MB each! Recipients can be anyone with an email address"

Check it out. If your file is confidential you could encrypt it before sending.

You could also try yousendit [dot] com @ https://www.yousendit.com/ you can send files up to 1Gb in size, you do need to retrieve the file within 7 days after uploading or it will be deleted after 7 days.

The likelihood of that happening is beyond extremely remote.
