Solved Outlook 2003 rules issue

September 14, 2012 at 04:36:40
Specs: Windows XP
When I create a outlook rule (moving emails from certain people to a specified folder automatically) I get the following error message “One or more rules could not be uploaded to the Exchange server and have been deactivated. This could be because some of the parameters are not supported or there is insufficient space to store all of your rules”

My Outlook folder is pointing to the correct Exchange account and i am new here so only just setup this email account a week ago.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You said "i am new here"

New where?

If you are new to a place of employment, do they have an IT Help Desk or at least a person designated as their IT person?

If that person exists, have you asked them?

I've seen this before. It just means that you either have too many rules, or there is too much criteria set. This explains it a little better:

Just a side note; if you can upgrade your Office version, I'd recommend that. 2003 is way outdated. :)
