outlook 2003 outbox

i have office 2003 and though i have nothing in the outbox it keeps trying to send a message, ran hijack and adaware and the usual and cant find any reason. anyone any ideas?

I could possibly be a virus. Go to Trend Micro's site and do an online virus scan. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Does it give you any indication as to what it is trying to send?
