Office 2003 installed and then tried to configure a profile for email on Earthlink. Message goes to outbox and just sits there. There is no Send/Receive button anymore. It's also not listed in any dropdown. Did Outlook get whacked or is this something else? What do I do now.
that's weird. I have Office 2003 installed on 3 machines and they all work fine.
Try this, go to Tools, Customize and click on the Commands tab. scoll down to the Tools section. In there, find the send/receive option and drag it to the toolbar.

Problem is a corrupt Outlook user profile. Add a new one using start/control panel/mail. I was warned that if/when you remove the corrupt profile that any mail unde the corupt profile will be lost so try to back up/export what you want to save. (Thanks to Dell Support (Mike) who found solution for me.)
